Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Mashoke Investment CC, trading as Mashoke Tech ("Mashoke", "we", "us"), collects through mashoke.com, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

1. What we collect

Enquiry form. If you send an enquiry, we receive the details you type in: your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and your message. We store the message on our own server so the team can reply and follow up. We also keep a one-way scrambled hash of your connection address, never the address itself, to help us block spam.

Email and phone. If you write to or call us, we keep the correspondence.

Visit statistics. We count visits with our own software, on our own server. For each page view we record the page, the date and time, the website you came from, your device type, browser, operating system and language. We do not store your IP address.

Server logs. Like any web server, ours records technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time. We use these for security and to keep the site working.

2. What we do not do

• We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
• We do not load fonts, scripts or other content from outside services.
• We do not sell your information.

3. Cookies and statistics

Reading the pages of this site sets no cookie until you choose. A small notice asks you to pick "Essential only" or "Accept all", and your choice is remembered in one cookie. The statistics are first-party: they store no IP address and cannot follow a person from one day to the next unless you accept all cookies. To count how many different people visit in a day, we mix your IP address and browser details with a secret key that changes every day and keep only a short fingerprint of the result. Because the key is different each day, a fingerprint from one day cannot be matched to one from another day, and it cannot be turned back into your IP address. We do not count visits from browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

If you choose "Accept all", we also set one random code in a cookie, so we can tell returning visitors from new ones. It holds no name, email or address, and only a scrambled version of it is stored with the page views. Choosing "Essential only" removes it at once. The enquiry page sets one strictly necessary session cookie that protects the form against forged submissions. Every cookie we set is sent only over an encrypted connection, cannot be read by scripts on the page, and has its value encrypted. Your browser also remembers your light or dark theme choice, and whether you closed the announcement banner, on your own device; we never receive that information. The full list, with lifetimes, is on the cookie page, where you can change your choice at any time.

4. How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to prepare a proposal and deliver the work.
• To understand which pages are read, so we can improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and working.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

5. Who sees it

Enquiries are stored in our operations system, emailed to our sales mailbox and read by the Mashoke team. Our website and email are hosted by a hosting provider that processes data on our behalf. We disclose information to others only where the law requires it, or with your consent.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for our business records. Raw visit statistics are deleted after about 13 months. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, including encrypted connections to this site and restricted access to our mailboxes and systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices

You may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email sales@mashoke.com and we will respond.

9. Our systems and your data

TermBook, TabBook, RestBook, SeatBook and Mashoke Fleet handle information on behalf of our clients (schools, businesses and operators). For that data the client decides how it is used, and our agreement with that client governs how we process it. This policy covers mashoke.com only.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
